Hah ... only an Astrogator Extraordinaire would have caught that! I set the logcard to a HM and it just counts down ... but, I have noticed that when I give that last (aaaaaahhh) pull in anticipation of being done, it sometimes stops a meter or two short of zero (keeping me honest, no doubt) and I have to give it another little tug. Must have missed that last "one meter" left on the display yesterday, in my enthusiasm to be done.

That said, I AM done for the 09-10 season. Leaving on a jet plane tmo, volcanoes notwithstanding ... reporting back in mid-May.

Just a reminder to the team, when the new rowing season begins, our Team Roster will not register your profile as a team mate until you log your first meters for the season. Not to worry. You do not have to re-enroll for the team. Everyone stays on the team as long as they do not remove themselves manually by changing their Team Affiliation in their profile. Just log some meters, and you will show up as a team mate. The first month of the new season can be quite exciting, as everyone gets a fresh start together in their individual placement within the team. Now is the time to get ahead of that guy or gal you've been chasing all season. :D

21,371 to go to get to the 5k/day board. Yes, a 1/2 moon would get me there, but I don't have time to fit it in my schedule. I'm in an all day 'ethics' and 'regulatory' class on Thursday ... thank Enron/Bernie/Lehman Bros & their accountants, now all CPA's have to take these classes. So I may do 10K tomorrow and the balance on Friday.

Let's pull for a strong finish to a great year!

The rowing part is the easy part of my days right now. I'm felling trees for the firewood which means chainsaw work, skidding the wood out, splitting, and stacking. All forms of the many ways wood heats, and so many ways that could cause injury or muscle pulls. How the next few days play out will tell if 4 MM is in the cards.....
