All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 4.18.10

The majority of the crew is gathered at the Space Station, taking a well-deserved break following the World Rowing Challenge. Minnie's checking the cosmic weather patterns hoping to push the volcanic ash out of the flying zone, Ted's contemplating rowing a full marathon today, and Barbara is cross-training with the Boston Marathon. She's bib number 22321 and is five minutes into her race as I type this!

Season's meters as of 353/365 = 112,741,038 m

Total meters on the day = 119,718 m

Oars in space (participation) = 7 percent :?

MILESTONES....Bragging Rights....Celebrations:

8.1 MM Bart

Image Bart with 25,000 m earns a half moon
Image Chris, aka Minnie, with half marathon # 247 on the year

FOUR Million Meter Watch:

Baz with (16,712 m) to go!

Darryl with (138,037 m) to go!

THREE Million Meter Watch:

Ted with (152,390 m) to go! A full marathon will definitely bring you into striking distance quickly!

TWO Million Meter Watch:

Kenneth G with (37,995 m) to go!

Peter G with (114,500 m) to go!

ONE Million Meter Watch:

Kristine with (47,971 m) to go!

AJ with (81,116 m) to go!

And thanks to all today's crew for all the kinds of meters:

Danno 9,034 m
Steven L 10,000 m
Jim 10,220 m
Baz 11,862 m
Greg H 12,505 m
Will S 20,000 m
Chris 21,097 m
Bart 25,000 m

Certainly am ... though it's not looking good for flying into the UK and Spain in the near future. And, here I'd "banked" all those extra meters because I thought I'd miss the last part of the season! (And I was pre-paying for all the tapas and cava. Sigh.)

~~~Positrons are flowing toward BG!~~~ and toward TED~~~ and hoping a gel seat comes your way as well! Go You Luna-Tics!
- Chris - Bummer on the ash thing. My morning paper said European airlines did some passengerless test flights yesterday with no damage, and that they are pushing to reopen the skies. So don't give up just yet. Any thought to coming in through the back door - Calf, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Istanbul, to Europe?
Kona2 - If I get to include my 30K snow meters, I think I've got 4MM in the bag - less than 100K to go. But if the boss says just indoor rowing meters, it's going to be very, very close..
She's through the second checkpoint at 10K !
Moose - it's going to be very, very close for the indoor meters only designation! B)
She's through the third checkpoint at 15K ... holding a steady pace! I love virtual running....
She's through the 35K checkpoint....holding steady.....c'mon Barbara....just about an hour to go!
