And welcome to a new team member, Dick in Baghdad!
I should be able to get some stats posted later today - absolutely couldn't wait to celebrate some of these milestones - especially when we've been doing some countdowns!

I just hit 2,000,000 meters for the season with my 7,000 meters this morning. I am new to the team and like competing in middle of the pack...what a kick! Some of you people are nuts! Over 1,000,000 meters in a month, good grief!

Launched
Well I launched my "rocket" yesterday (April 10). It was just warm enough to take my solo performance canoe (Wenonah Voyager) out for the first paddle of the season. This was the earliest I have ever been able to be on open water in northern Minnesota. It was great to be out and my pace was not that much slower than a usual mid season pace, but I've got some work to do on those torso rotation and wrist and elbow rotation muscles before any long excursions can happen.

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Good for you, Moose. Have fun! It has been a mild winter for us, too.
I just updated Ben's profile with a new picture. He and Keith had just returned home from a Sunday ride.
And speaking of profile pictures, one of my goals for our team is that we have as many teammates as possible showing some kind of profile photo on our team roster. You can put a picture of yourself, or of anything else that you want to brand yourself with. It is a great way to show the uniqueness and variety of who we are as a team. While you are at it, maybe add a little blurb about why you row, or your life philosophy, or your most recent achievements, or anything that you want to share with the world. If anyone needs help to make a photo sized to upload, just PM or email me, and I'll be glad to help you out. Add a photo and text by clicking on the Profile tab in your logbook, and then on "edit profile". Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to do this already. The LUNA-TICS are the best!
