Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Way to go, Team! I keep finding myself thwarted of my rowing time day after day lately. Something needs to change! I've got the 10 hour Band of Brothers DVD's waiting for me to finish off the season with.

Dear Gina, acrewer wrote:yes there was a master plan ... 7800 per rowable day (sun -fri) will get me to the 5000 meter board. However, family issues are looming that may interrupt that. My dear beloved father in law is very ill. He's 105 years old and has enjoyed a wonderful life. I found out today that most likely we will be saying goodbye to him within the next few days...please keep us in your thoughts as we go through this transition.
He was a pioneer in early TV. He did titles, art and special effects in the 50's & 60's. He was the brains behind the Patty Duke Show - where Patty played herself and her cousin.

I am keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

We bring you this message...
Just a heads up that tomorrow's numbers will be captured, but not posted too immediately. I have an early flight out of Denver, and will mostly keep up with the postings for the next five or six days. Going to try to play some golf in Nevada...

Right now I am training for a 50 mile bicycle ride for TourdeCure

Enjoy your trip, K2.
Where will your bike ride be held, Andrea? How long do you think it will take you to do the 50 miles?
I just rolled over 8 million lifetime meters with today's row. Now to try to finish my first ever 1 million meter season. I'm just sooooo close

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
My beloved Father-in-law passed this morning. He truly lived his 105 years here. Fortunately he never suffered from any sort of dementia or age related problems. He was a 30 yr survivor of colon cancer. They never made him do the chemo because of his age at that time...75. My husband is doing very well, he truly has no regrets and was able to say goodbye to his dad. My kids are ok too. Thank you all for your kind words here and on FB.
Rowing is definitely thereaputic. But today I just rowed, no planned workout or intervals, It's amazing how calming the rythmic sound of the erg can be.

I am sure you can and will do it.
The ride will be in Napa, on May 2nd. I think it will take me a bit more than 5 hours but hopefully less than 6.
Will know better in a couple of weeks.
Happy rowing and riding!

Thanks for the motivation Kristine.
I just hit 2,000,000 meters for the season with my 7,000 meters this morning. I am new to the team and like competing in the middle of the pack...what a kick! Some of you people are nuts! Over 1,000,000 meters in a month, good grief!
