Thanks, Luna-Tics! :D

Have you tried http://www.Flickr.com? It's free up to a certain number of pictures (enough for me) and a nominal annual fee for a gadzillion pictures (enough for AJ's art). Lets you make albums and all kinds of organizing.

I haven't tried Flickr. I should check that out. Thanks for the tip Chris!

I, too, live for the graphics .... thanks for putting them in there -- photobucket had some major hiccups this morning.

And...since we might only get to celebrate this challenge ranking for a short time, woohoo !!

Wild Bill great on the 15 Million Life Time I know the effort it took since I passed that way a while back.

Tom take in easy on the rotator cuff, I also know about being on the injured reserve list. Patient my man, patient!

March Madness: 20 LunaTIcs on the boards!

When the March Madness Challenge comes around each year, I know I look at it and think "5 or 10K a day for 25 days....piece of cake compared to some of the other challenges." Go on, admit it - you probably think the same thing. And then the reality of the discipline required to stay in the challenge hits somewhere in the second week...not because the distances aren't manageable, but because you have less flexibility for the when of rowing...and the numbers start to tumble off the boards. This year, the Challenge started out with almost SIX thousand participants. The overall participation level for all of Concept2 is now below 1,000...in fact, there are fewer people on the boards now than at the finish of last year's challenge - and we still have a week to go. So, congrats to those hanging in there - especially those who are rowing every single day!

I have completed every challenge C2 has ever had, but the March Madness ones are often one of the more difficult ones for me. This year there a 4 Sabbaths and 2 Passover days, on which I am not allowed to erg, so that only leaves 25 days left in the month. I. e. no days to miss for any reason. (Anybody who has ever had to clean their house for Passover might realize how challenging that might be :D .)

Exactly - there is no leeway for you! Or for a couple of other members of our team!

Image Have discovered that snow sliding off solar panels is like a mini-avalanche! Yikes....and get the shovel back out for the driveway. Those panels are just enough slick surface to make it quite interesting - I'll be parking a bit further out from the house!

David -I only got 2500 meters on March 3rd...forgetting it was March Madness...and proud of myself for getting that in on a day that was jam-packed. So, I'll end up ONE day short. The temptation to split a day's meters between 2 days is mighty strong, but I'll resist.

Today my 'magic cleaning lady' scrubbed my *** DELETE - SPAM ***! Since I'm in the middle of tax season, it's one treat I give myself, not having to do ALL the cleaning and ALL the cooking. Tomorrow the cooking starts.

Happy Erging.

Go the Luna-tics in the WRC, and Bart, great work mate sitting at number 2!

Weather looks perfect in this part of the world for a great weekend. Tomo is doing a 3,000m cross-country run tomorrow, although he has been on a school camp for two days, and probably little sleep, so the run will test his stamina in more ways than one.....

Good weekend to all, and go the Lunies! :D

BTW, how am I going with my colour choices??

Image Crank up the ergs! We've entered the battlefield!!

Friday arrived here in the northern hemisphere - and so did some of the meter postings from our competitors. Each of the ten rowers from Albion are giving Bart a rowing challenge for top of the meter heap as they average nearly 500K for the challenge. We need ALL of our oars in the virtual waters. All meters welcome....they do add up!! We're one-third of the way through this challenge!!
