Hi all - what's going on? Just making my way back to the forum after a HELLISH winter and spring (2 month illness, huge work demands). Trying to back back into rowing form after an inexcusably long away period. Hope to see many of you online in a social row sometime soon. Sorry to have been AWOL for such a long time, and thanks to many of you for the notes and calls.

Looks like the handicap series has taken on a life of its own! This is GREAT to see!!! Hope you all are well.

P.S. - I haven't read up on the forum postings yet, but is everybody now using Rowpro, or do we still have some old-school holdouts (as I was until my "pause" in December) still using e-Row? I've been paddling around in the new RowPro version, and it seems remarkably stable. Will test it again tonight in a little 6k splash-around.

Wow! Thanks guys for the posts. I missed you too. Now about rowing: I am PETRIFIED of entering a race, as my times have dropped DRASTICALLY! Having said that, I guess there's no way to improve without giving it a go. Dyson has been good enough to escort me through a couple recovery rows, so I at least know how to log on and complete a couple pulls on the handle. Will try a couple online rows this weekend. See you all soon!

- recently revived

Hei Mark,
god to hear from you again. Sorry for the late reply, but I was on holliday.

I think you can use your PM2+ on the RowProw server. So no need to buy the software. You just has to register. I have races several races with my PM2+ there.

Greetings
Christine

Hi Mark,

good to see you back. Your times dropped, so you are faster now?

Assuming you are slower, I am glad I can beat you now. See you soon on Rowpro.

Tom

Good catch Tom! Wouldn't it be nice to take 3-4 months off and have your times drop drastically! :-) No, I meant my power has dropped drastically. I was barely able to complete a sub-20 5k the other day - a long shot from the 18:20 I was targeting back in December. But I'll be happy to row in your wake online anytime.

Thanks all for the warm welcomes.
