TimbukTOO Team Room
finally back on the wagon again after an almost 2 week layoff...hurt my shoulder shoveling snow! Just took delivery of a beautiful snow blower yesterday, not only will this guarantee a shoulder injury free season it ALSO guarantees NO snow for the next 12 months (this is the length of the warranty) it is then reasonable to assume the snow will resume immediately after the damned thing breaks...
OK, so my first major milestone achieved (1 million meters) heck even my wife was impressed with that one I went online and completed the form to let the C-2 higher ups know I was onboard the million meter club...they dutifully sent me out a FREE T-Shirt with the million meter club logo placed proudly on the front pocket area along with a very nice million meter pin!
If they haven't already done so, I urge all million meter achievers to go to the challenge area on the web page and follow the instructions to get those wonderful gifts!
Thanks to the C-2 company for supporting us in this way and thank you all on this forum for your continued motivation, I could NOT have done it alone!
Best regards,
Mike

Thanks in advance!

Hi Team!
Hi guys! Welcome back to Pat and hello to all our new members! I haven't checked the forum in awhile. Thanks, Pat, for recognizing my milestones. I've been training pretty solidly for nearly three months now and I'm feeling like I'm in pretty good shape. I'm getting ready for Bucknell's Erg Armageddon this Saturday. Luckily for me, the masters' race distance is only 1000m. I know I can handle that, but still, IT HURTS!
Is everyone gearing up for March Madness (I mean the Concept2 challenge, not basketball)? I'm going to see if I can do it this year.
It's good to see the familiar posters are still posting! You guys are great motivation for me! thanks for "keepin' it real!"

Small number crunch glitch for yesterday's team stats.
I will reconcile these numbers tonite with todays numbers and catch up tomorrow...
Keep up the great work and keep rowing strong!!
I have fallen out of my boat for a week or 2 and desperately need to get back on board.
Oh well..life does go on and we are TimbukTOO..the BEST with spirit and strength and support!!!
Thanks for your patience...

I'll toot my own horn tonight... totally rowed my first half marathon on Sunday! I figured it would be a physical challenge, but the mental challenge was harder. I don't know how you full marathoners out there do it! Still, I laid one down just to see how it was before March Madness hit (where I will not be doing a half marathon), as a prep for the challenge in April. Whaddya know... it *is* doable!
