Way to go Gina! Awesome job on the time trial. You will do even better on race day. (The energy of the race is very motivating.) Good luck with the preparation. Don't forget you have a ship full of Loonies cheering you on.

Also, good advice on the wrist topic!

I got nervous for a second when I saw you "joined a new club". Phew! I'm glad you're still with us!

Congrats on the 16 million lifetime -- very impressive. My nine-year-old daughter, Sinead, read your total meters and responded with a question, "What did he do, start rowing when he was 2?"

Thats a lot of metres!

Post by Dave_H » January 13th, 2010, 2:24 am

Well done Danno!!

Moose - thanks for the info on the shoulder. Interestingly I spend at least a couple of hours a day in the car (I  Sydney traffic!!), and have noticed the pain as I rest my elbow on the driver's window sill too... I am being quite conscious to keep this down now.
Following another visit to the doc, he has cleared me for gentle use of the erg (I assured him it was a gentle pull back to the stomach and didn't impinge on the above shoulder restriction... so I am back on for a few metres in the JVC! B)

Thanks to all for the care and well wishes!

Cheers,
Dave

No seatbelts (fortunately the sea was not that rough), just small paper bags ;).

Image Soaring to SIX million meters!
