henry has won... it's over for Rich.. It's just another realm where RC has lost his credibility.
Thanks, Rich, for setting an example for us all on how
not to be.
For the uninitiated:
I have had my share of aborted contests with Cureton:
the 2007 5k contest in which he failed to post a score. Mine was.
the "for the coaches only" era.
the 2008 2k "by the end of the calendar year" contest in which he failed to post a 2k time. I posted.
the 500m open rate/lightweight contest in which.... do I need to be pedantic?
the 2009 60 minute contest (same result)
Now, remember (I say with no sarcasm), I think that Cureton is faster at 2k than I am...
just not at a ligheweight 55-59 500m, 5k, 60 min... where I've prevailed.
If he's nearly 59 now he's had ample time to post and train and starve....
So: Once again, this thread is all about banter.
He has proven himsel to be what his is:.. He's the fastest current (2009) lwt welching 2k mark holder* in the 55-59 age group in which he is the only participant...
* Roy Brook (GBR) is the
WR holder since 2006.
According to any ranger measure the WR mark would be at an effort below anaerobic threshold for him (!)
Go figure...
