I had cataract surgery on 12/30 so I have been off the erg. Much to my surprise, the doctor cleared me to row starting today as long as I don't work too hard. I felt fine but quit at 1600 meters. No use being overly enthusiastic and having a relapse. More meters tomorrow. Happy 2010!

While we were sure that our canoeist was practically immune, ship's medics report a surge in half moon fever, and Darryl's in the mix...! Gina either celebrates the return of her monitor with an extra long row....or makes the most of a gym trip! Either way, well done!

I know exactly what you are saying....I row (try to ) at lunch times at a gym... Model C - last serviced in 1963 (okay 1979) - and has the feel of an amusement park ride! Such a contrast to mine at home......

Got home late tonight, tired and didn't feel much like rowing. Once I saw Kona's post I was guilted into rowing another half tonight; thanks for the encouragement. On top of of everything else I hadn't realized I broke 7million for my lifetime meters. I've been working too hard lately.
