I remember seeing a photo online of one of those sleeves that directs air back at the person erging... anyone know what I'm talking about? Anyone have any opinions on it?

Great Idea, thought of doing something like this myself and did not realise there was something already comercially available.

Effectively you have the something that looks like a turbo charger with all the inlet air being directed out at you.

Does it affect your Drag Factor ?

It does affect the drag factor slightly, but nothing you can't correct with the damper. Unless you already row on 10!
