Agreed, great row guys!

Yesterday I did 38 km - albeit very slowly...3 1/2 hours...
My longest distance yet :)

Wow, that's insane!

How did you break that up?

My longest continuous row was 25k done a couple fo weeks before my running marathon and that near killed me!

Thanks! That's a big compliment for me :D

Actually I've been working my way up to that distance pretty much like you probably did for your running marathon - by slowly increasing my long rows over time. Just this past summer I thought that 10 km was long. I'm actually aiming to do 100 km in June, so my perspective will change again.

Congrats on your marathon. :D

Did you break it up to intervals, or just slog along?

And 100km, now that would be a superb achievement, good luck!

I was reading on the UK Forum that some guy did a continuous 24 hour row, madness!

LOL - I just slogged along :) Maybe when I get used to this distance I'll try shaking it up a bit.

Ahh yes, a 24 hour row - can you imagine? Not in my future...

Good for you anyway! Guess a marathon will be the next port of call?

exactly :)

Haven't decided whether to do it this weekend or in a few weeks...it's not my end goal so there is no rush. But it's still chewing at my brain to get one done...

Here is my training plan that I'm tweaking as I go along:

Energi, when were you planning on doing your 100k? I had a 24 hour record attempted planned for November but I got really sick - so as long as you'll be doing your 100k before June 27th, I'll do my 24hr piece at the same time - some cross-continent moral support?

OMG Paul - that would be fabulous!! My big day is June 19 - it's a Saturday and I'm doing it at a giant mall (I'm raising money to build a school in Mozambique - all by my lonesome on a stage in front of strangers). To know you are doing a 24hr record attempt at the same time will spur me on to keep going!

I really appreciate the support!
