Whether or not you have snow on the ground, lights in the tree, halls that are decked...your holiday plans sure are including some time on the erg! Woohoo.....gotta love these numbers you are all rowing! Great to see more and more names popping up on the Holiday Challenge Board!

Moon fever struck the crew once again with 10 moons in a variety of phases on our rowing horizon....we can't help it.....there is no vaccine.....fortunately there are lots of stars sprinkled throughout our efforts as well! So, if you're not quite ready for a half marathon row, we can certainly wait. Except for Gina....we're cheering you on...because we KNOW it's on your list of things to get done!
Image

And if rowing long distances is not EVER going to be on your erg radar, that's okay, too....I said that once...and dang if I didn't find myself drawn to row the half.....remember we do this for daily fitness and only you set your expectations and requirements (we just push for a little extra motivation!!!)

Internet connection here is "iffy" - perhaps due to the 6 F (-14 C - I think) temperatures here.....

Season meters as of 220/365 = 63,400,684 m

Total meters on the day = 439,237 m

Oars in space (participation) = 33 percent

MILESTONES...Bragging Rights....Celebrations:

400K Kristine
100K Ian

Image Will S with a half moon and 22,432 m
Image Barbara with half marathon/moon # 107
Image Chris with half marathon # 145 ...that's over 3 MM meters of half marathons, Minnie Image
Image Tim with half marathon # 18
Image Peter H with half marathon # 34...unless the full marathon was really two halves...which would then make this # 36....or so some say .... btw Stig, one of the news shows here in the US showed that new housing was being built on stilts for the Netherlands due to rising water levels...? Another reason to go to the moon!

ONE Million Meter Watch:

Gina with (63,724 m) to go! Let's see....if she finishes off the million with a half marathon....she only has (42,627 m) to go! Something to think about..

Hah! I am SURE that you, Wild Bill, will see 7 MM by the end of this next week! Rowing history suggests that 7 MM might be in my future...but only Madame Zoltana can read life's crystal ball....and she, fictious creature that she is, can't be right all the time.. :D

Ah....my very words....thank you Zoltar. I'll buy a lotto ticket, too, since fortune telling can be ambiguous! :D

Thanks for the congratulatory words everyone! Keep rowing! We have many meters to go to get to Tranquility Base! May each of you reach the milestones you want along the way!
