Congrats Bazz and Chris... great job both of you!
Not sure about your choice of sports-drink Chris, after all you aren't meant to sip that stuff... its a big mouthful at a time if you are doing it properly! Mightn't make for a long row, but certainly a fun one!!

Cheers,
Dave

I'll be putting some meters in soon.

Hi All!

I've missed you. My on the water time has dwindled, so those that remember me know what that means. It's time for me to get back on my erg. I guess I better get my daughter to clean up her mess in the sun porch so that I can make my way to my erg. Looking forward to words of wisdom and inspiration from all of you.

Kudos on the many successes I've missed during my absense.

Just checking in,

Welcome back Karyn,

I'm doing alright, not feeling too top notch, but starting to feel better, hopefully get some metres in tomorrow. It's not the flu or anything.. just feeling "weak"
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon..

Hi Kiba,

Don't worry, I am also running behind a bit on your November challenge. I now did 7 HM's and my butt isn't that comfy anymore during the mornings. Calculating now my meters and the day's left for me to row I'll end up at 20 hm's for November. That will be 421.940 meters. Since I was going to support you till half way, your 1MM could be reduced to 843.880M without

Pizza and your magic fruit juice might get you back to the rower again. Good luck !!

Peter H.

Boat ramp closed, the sign read.....and the season changes! Our goal remains the same...to the moon! (I don't quite put my bike away for the season....but the number of outside bike hours goes from dwindle to trickle...) Hooyah for the Aussies who are celebrating the return of summer! One of my favorite Concept2 holiday challenge logos was the one that acknowledged both hemispheres... all the logos are good!
Image

54 million meters! Way to row, team!

Season meters as of 194/365 = 54,051,054 m

Total meters on the day = 508,150 m Whoa....that's what I'm talking about!

Oars in space (participation) = 34 percent

MILESTONES...Bragging Rights....Celebrations:

10 MM Lifetime Chris
6.2 MM William H
3.2 MM Bart
1.3 MM Mike S
Image Mike S with a mega meter posting for the week..165,602 m
Image Bart with a few days worth ! 61,097 m...sure there's a half marathon in there somewhere
Image Half moon for Will S with 34,419 m
Image Half marathon/moon #89 for Barbara with 25,678 m
Image Wild Bill quietly puts in a quarter century with 25,000 m and a half moon....better check the duct tape supplies, Wild Bill might be trussed up somewhere out west and unable to speak...
Image And some say there will be 20 half marathons in the month of November from the Stig...as he races around the track for half marathon # 25 on the year

THREE Million Meter Watch:

Will S with (10,396 m) to go!

Barbara with (100,028 m) to go!

TWO Million Meter Watch:

Tim P with (61,972 m) to go!

Dave H with (80,410 m) to go!

And thanks to all today's crew for all the meters posted today ! Marvelous, darlings, marvelous! You don't have to row mega-meters to make an impact on the distance to the moon....all these bits and pieces add up to LOTTA meters!

Chuck D 3,030 m
Lilia 4,000 m

Hey 27, congrats on 10 Million!

Welcome back Karyn!

I, like Kiba have had to take a few days off, hope to be back in the saddle tomorrow.

Peter H, About sore butts. For 2 years I have used a 2" piece of foam with fairly good results. Just last week I added a 4 inch piece of memory foam. If you weight less than 97Kg. A 3" piece might be OK. This combo has been working well.
