Yea, as I mentioned, near the end of the summer, I was planning to go to BIRC, so I was getting ready to gear up for some faster rowing.
Subsequently, I decided that I don't have the money for overseas travel this year.
So, I am putting off sharpening until January and February, when I will be preparing for WIRC.
This is more ideal, anyway.
It gives me more time to complete my distance rowing, which I will be doing for the next couple of months.
I did get to weight in the middle of September, though, and have remained there.
This puts me _way_ ahead of last year, when I had to lose 20 lbs. from November to January in order to make weight.
No problem this year.
My cross-training routines are all in place and functioning nicely.
I am also ahead of last year in my training.
I am no longer doing foundational training at all.
I have moved on to distance rowing and distance trials.
Last year I was just doing foundational training.
