Some excellent numbers in the JVC hosers. If Larry keeps rowing like that he will put in over 7 million meters in the year.

We have some new members on the Eh!Team. Welcome to them as they help power our trireme along the coastline of the world.

Our trireme is now rowing North along the east coast of India. We have just past the port of Kakinada (Cocanada under the British). Interesting for a boat full of hosers!

Amazing what you can find on a virtual row around the world.

Keep on rowin', eh.

PS Hope to see some of you at the WCIRC in Vancouver

120,000,000 meters!!!!

That's 120 MILLION meters, hosers. Just over 60 million meters per year and we are half way through our route.

Well done to everyone, but we have to.....

Keep on rowin', eh.

Some of you may have notice that the Coastal Row site is giving a cryptic error message about a web.config file. I will try and get this fixed over the next few days. Keep logging your rows in your C2 logbook.

Great rowing for the JVC. Us hosers just kept rowing and racked up a few million meters.

I will be giving the Western Canadians a try this weekend. Wish me luck.

Keep on rowin', eh.

I have managed to get the Coastal Row site back up and running. For the techies among you it was a problem with the IIS and the configuration of the directory.

In the meantime our EhTeam trireme is now rowing around Burma/Myanmar. (See the link to see how controversial the name is). It is the largest country in South East Asia.

It seems to have a diversity of people.

After almost 2 years of rowing, we have completed 54% of our coastal row.

Keep on rowin', eh.

We're back

Post by ulu » September 27th, 2009, 5:19 pm

OK, hosers. My apologies for not getting the coastal row site up to date for the past few months but I have been having some family health problems.

There is good news and bad news. The bad news is we are missing a couple of weeks of rowing from about April 15, 2009 to May 5, 2009. The good news is our big Eh!Team trireme is almost all the way around Antartica.

We have completed over 153,000,000 meters of the row and have just over 40 million to go.

So congratulations on all of that rowing and
Keep on rowin', eh.

Jim

(also join the Eh!Team for the fall rowing challenge)

Ok, hosers. The coastal row site is back up and running.

It can be reached at C2 Coastal Row or you can just click the link in my signature.

We are now moving past the South Shetland Islands on the coast of Antartica. This makes it penguin country.

The sun is starting to warm up our big Eh!Team trireme as we row around Antarctica. We are just rowing past Adelaide Island. It is home to many penguins and 2 bases. I am not sure exactly what people do at these bases, but I am sure they would be surprised if they saw us rowing past.

These elephant seals are obviously impressed. So....

Ok, hosers, we are slowly working our way around Antarctica. Well done! We have completed almost 70% of the our row. The journey is over 200,000,000 meters and every meter counts.

We have been rowing for over 2 and 1/2 years, but we all knew this was an ambitious project to start with. Everyone does what they can, when they can and our team is slowly creating history in the C2 world.

Hey Jim,

The website is looking good. Thanks for all the motivation.

My wife and I are just back from a trip to London/Paris. Our daughter is studying in London for a semester - so we visited her - and also took a family trip to Paris. The weather was quite nice so it is a bit of a shock to slip back into these icy Antarctic waters.

Two of my favourite cities. I hope you had a chance to take in some publife in London and show them how hosers drink beer. Just walking around Paris can be fun.

Glad you can keep on rowin', eh.

Hello there

Post by alkem » February 7th, 2010, 5:23 am

I sure haven't been helping our team get anywhere. My concept2 time is so little now that I don't even put my card in the PM3.

Body has been doing the downhill for a spell (okay a very long spell). Just stopped by to say hey and share my latest. Here's a link to my film entry for the 2010 Neuro Film Festival which provides a brief glimpse of my creative survival while living with MS.

Thanks Dan. In the spirit of the olympics I am going downstairs to row for a few minutes before my shower. Have to start somewhere :).
