Always halfway done - now you only have 500k to go and that will FLY by!

Congratulations, and definitely try to hit the million meter mark within two months!

Well done you're only 9,876,004 behind me.

Seriously, I only got 477,822m rowed in the first year (1st May 2004 thru 30th April 2005) of logging metres on the C2 logbook so you're doing OK. I've done one or two more metres since then.

Yea I bought my machine in 2004 and only logged 70,000m on it until this year. ( Such sad meters I don't even count them)

When I started up again in January I thoughy a million meters was forever away. But it seems to get closer everyday

I started in June '08 and got to 555k by mid-February, then I was off until mid-June with back trouble.

I reached the 700k mark over the weekend - it's great to see that the number of metres remaining for my first million now only starts with a 2!

My plan is to reach the million before the end of October....

Well, that next 100k took a bit longer than I intended. I did no rowing between mid-Sep and mid-Oct because I had to devote time to my studies. That left me 160k to do in 17 days to reach the million by my deadline of the end of October. I hit 900k today, just need to do 99.5k in the next 11 days....

948k, and counting....

I have been struggling with motivation for long distances/times for the last few months, but I have done two 1-hour sessions and a 10k in the last three days, which is immensely satisfying.

Well, I managed it! I reached my million with a day to spare. Phew!

Now only another 550k to go to do a million this rowing year....
