Just in from Concept2:
Today is the last day for Fall Rowing Challenge meters to be rowed. We have a record number of 256 teams participating with more than twice as many people rowing as last year. That’s amazing! You and your members have until midnight Eastern Time (ET) tonight to row one (or more!) last workout(s). The deadline for entering meters is Sunday, October 18 at midnight ET.

This is my first FRC, and I know I don't post much, but I do read the forum. It has been interesting reading as well as incentive to keep rowing. When I started the challenge my goal was 100,000. There was no way I could do 200,000. I have finished with 241,785 and I am proud of that accomplishment. I remember March Madness and to do 5K a day for 25 days - i did not think i was going to be able to finish the month. i ended up with 183,xxx for the month. I am having better numbers and less pain now and hope one day i can be in the top 100. Congratulations to everyone else and their accomplishments and I have rooted the team on even though it was quietly.

Way to go, Sheryl!! I know what you mean. Rowing this challenge has taught me how a lot of little efforts all add up to a big accomplishment. So many people (myself included) have done more than they thought possible!
Way to go Linda, you're hanging on in slot #99! Go, girl, go!!!

There are 62 TIMBUK2-ians listed as the team..
52 TIMBUK2-ians actually rowed and entered meters.
That is an awesome number of meters for 52 rowers.
WAY TO ROW..and we do appreciate the spirit behind ALL 62.

Thank You !!
To All My TeamMates, I Want To Say Thank You As The Fall Rowing Challenge Comes To An End. To Those Ahead Of Me, You Motivated Me To Try To Catch Up. For Those Behind Me, You Motivated Me To Stay Ahead. I Had Three Goals In Mind: To Increase My Season Daily Average, And To Row At Least A 10,000 Meter Daily Average For The Challenge, I Wanted To Be A Millionaire But Failed, That Will Happen Shortly. More Challenges Are Coming Quickly, I Learned Some New Training Aspects. You All Have Become CyberBuddies (I Have Nicknames For Each Of You (Based On Your Photo's Or Location)...Juvenile, Yes, All In Fun............See You In The Boat !!!!! Andy (ziggy443@sssnet.com)
