When do we start getting meters out of the little tyke? :D
:D Probably not in my lifetime!

My son, his wife and most likely the dear child..are and will not be very athletic or active.I tried very hard to set a good example for my son but much to my dismay..he is a couch potato except for yard work.. :?

Oh well..one can only hope..I will be a hip hop grandmother and stay cool and great looking

any Itralian in your bloodline? then you could go with "Nonna"
I'm not bragging...but, if you aren't Italian I have the authority to bestow this honorary title upon you!

Now, for me, when the time comes, I"m leaning towards Pappi...just has a nice ring to it. My next door neighbor is a bit vain and doesn't want folks to think he is old so he insists the grandson will just call him by his first name! I think that is NUTS! Be proud I say! Any moniker is good, hell Pat, looking at your avatar you look 49 :)) I don't think that the grandma label will throw anyone!

Just my Italian two cents !!!

Mike

Yes, Doc Mike...I am Italian ( by marriage).
Look 49..nope..pictures can sometimes be deceiving  I feel 30..
But do look my age, I think. It is just a number anyway.

LAST DAY!!!

Post by n1lul » October 15th, 2009, 7:58 am

Lets go folks last day to get some meters in.

Congratulations Pat! I have told my daughter no babies until she has a M.D. after her name (she is applying to med school this year).

WOW, the #1 rower has over 2,000,000 meters for the challange

That is 66,666 meters/day. Talk about dedication. At a 2:00/500 meter split that is almost 4.5 hours/day.

That is a bunch of time pulling that handle!

I am still well on track for reaching my first million by my birthday.

If one wanted to lay waste to all the energy in the body in the shortest possible time, rowing would be the way to do it. (Kiesling)
