Without the competiition, I would not have stuck to so many daily meters over the past two weeks.

Congrats everyone on their recent milestones!!! B)

Pat -- how's that elbow holding up? I hope it's getting better!

Michael, where'd you go, buddy? Did your other arm fall off? We miss you! :(

Well, back to the erg. I think I can get in another hour before the husband comes home. :D I just wish I was sleeping better. I don't know if I can keep this up for another two weeks.....

Keep rowing strong, everyone!

Lisa, I don't mean to meddle...but, I think you are ignoring your husband, you should give the erg a break and spend some time with him!

After all, HOW ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO CATCH YOU????

Oh, just a question, does EVERY members spouse think they are married to obsessive compulsive people???

I don't think there is anything to that...but, did I tell you I got a really nice pair of erging gloves today?! Oh yeah, they have to reduce your 500m split by at least 5 seconds...then I saw some golds gym gloves with these hooks for lifters...i'm thinking they could be used to perfect a nice rowing stroke AND decrease times...

No obsession here...

Hey, if he's not HOME, then by definition, I'm not ignoring him! :D He's the one that went out to a business dinner!

His group is hosting some visitors from Viet Nam, hence all the dinners without me. Just wait till he goes to Hanoi in November -- I'm going to try a marathon!! :P

Oh, and yeah, I'm OCD. I got the handwashing thing.

Oh, oh, there's the garage door opener! Quick! Hide the forum!

Note to team:

I have hit a milestone..not in meters.. but in years. :?

I found out that I have a non functioning thyroid. :( Hence NO metabolism.I have noticed that I am unable to row with as much energy and just thought I was over working out.

So sadly my meters have failed you. That coupled with a tennis elbow that comes from NOT playing tennis   ..I am just lagging behind.Maybe by next challenge I will be more ready set go!!

On a brighter note..rowing..I know it..has given me a great heart and all its blood work!!

Happy rowing..you are the absolute best team there is!!
ALL winners.NOW GO FOR THE CUP AND HAVE FUN. I WILL CHEER YOU ON!!!

Do they have have a plan to get you going again?

It will be hard to fill your gap, you are a erg monster!

Pat -- so sorry to hear of your condition!!! :( I hope you are feeling better soon -- any meds that might help you out to feel better?

I wouldn't say that at 198k meters you've "failed" anyone!!! Good heavens! You're a great leader, whether you row from here on out or not. You just take care of yourself.

You said it!! It does SUCK!! I am never sick and this was not what I expected to hear.Although I was thinking I may be having some issues ..I was always SO tired.
I am waiting for my added test results so I can get on some type meds to rev my metabolism again.I hate meds and always try to do things a natural way..but this I am not going to fight.
I will try to row a little at a time til I get my "wings" back.

Pat, if this is the production you put out with a non-functioning thyroid, well, I shudder to think what your numbers will be after the condition is corrected...I will be eating your dust forever!

I'm sure the docs will get you on some thyroid meds and you will be back to par in no time...it won't help with the tennis elbow though...you are going to need mucho stretches for that, i've been there done that!

Oh, and if I see you apologizing for ANYTHING...EVER...I'm gonna come over to your house and take away your erg!!!!

You are the best captain around :D :!: :D

Thanks so much for all you do!
