LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
National Public Lands Day
Here's a photo from our tree planting day - what a blue sky day! There are now over 350 more trees at the Stillwater Campground than there were on Friday! Not sure if I'll get any rowing done today, though!

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 9.27.09
I dunno! Pretty sure the waterways are clear! I don't see any more viral looking postings on the forum today, do you?
Late yesterday afternoon, astrogator put in a distress call to the C2 forum people....there was a suspicious looking message topic that first populated in the teams section, then popped up in just about every section. Thanks to C2 for doing a sweep!
Wow! Heading towards 40,000,000 m ....!
Season meters as of 150/365 = 39,405,918 m
Total meters on the day = 288,919 m
Oars in space = 30 percent
MILESTONES....Bragging Rights....Celebrations:

Half marathon/moon # 57 for Barbara
Half marathon # 41 and 14th in a row for Dave H!
FIVE Million Meter Watch:
Wild Bill with (145,000) m to go! Gotta start these earlier to get any celebration value since he rows at 30 - 50 K a day!
TWO Million Meter Watch:
Will S with (155,543 m) to go! No slouch here either - WS was first to claim the continuous 50K...and thus the red giant was born!
And thanks to all who are Luna-Tic enough to be on this team! Way to row!

Hi great rowers,
My FRC will end here. I had a hard time the past two weeks to fullfill my 200k target but it's done now. This Wednesday we'll be off on our belated honeymoon. We will surrender 29 hours to Continental Airlines staff to reach the Buenos Aires spring-time on Thursday. On the way home we will visit our family in Mexico. No more meters to add till November 2nd.... (doesn't it sound great? it's still September)
Have a great time (we will for sure) !!
Lilia and Peter
