When I purchased my version 2.3 last month I checked my license page then and I had a license for v3 noted then. It was understood the I would get the upgrade for free at that time. Now today my license page does not show the v3 license information. I guess they changed their policy without telling me.

I don't think they did.

Try emailing them, petel@digitalrowing.com usually gets a quick response

DigitalRowing got back with me on my email question about version 3. They told me that my license was for v3 even though it was showing v2.302. It now has been revised appropriately.

Thanks DigitalRowing...

The real questions is How do you like V3? Is it worth upgrading? I just purchased Row Pro in June if I had know I might have waited.

I'd also like to know if anyone feels the upgrade is worth purchasing.

Row Pro - How About A Mac Version

Post by Montanaandy » October 18th, 2009, 11:54 am

How about a version of row pro that will run on the Mac? Should not be that difficult to adapt RP for the Mac users which are gaining in numbers.

I'm running RowPro 2.302 in

Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255)
Dutch (Regional Setting: Dutch)

with
DirectX 11
6.01.7600.16385 32bit Unicode

and all runs OK.

So the question remains - is it worth upgrading to RowPro 3.016?

Not that I mind spending USD 39.00 even though the price in EUR is increasing the last few weeks.

Yes the graphics are much better with the live water.

Go to the digital Rowing site and test your graphics first as it is more demanding than previous versions and your upgrade cost could double if you need a newer graphics card.

Try the free trial and see if you like it. They are working on V3.019 at present. I have stayed with V3.012 as I have graphics issues with V3.016 when I tried it. You need to keep your graphics card driver up to date.
