We here at TimbukTOO love your sense of humor and it IS appreciated.Someone had to walk the plank in honor of talk Like A Pirate DAY... B) I would walk the plank for this team any day of the week.

It is way over 75 here in SW Florida..could be 75 or more all year round.I love it!!!

Have a great day and keep winkin' ..

rowed for distance yesterday...17.5K but today decided to go for speed in the 5K, well that distance work must be good for shorter spurts, I was able to do a personal best AND meet a self designated goal.

I was trying to break 20 minutes for the 5K, well, did a 19:50.2 I have to tell you all, I NEVER truly thought that would be possible! I think the encouragement received online in general and the camaraderie on TIMBUK2 specifically, is what makes the clock tic!

Just my two cents :)

I LOVE that graphic!!!! :)

This team is kicking some virtual BUTT! Way to row everyone!!! I got my 12k in today before giving blood today. I'll hopefully be up to the task tomorrow while the hubster is watching football, but will spread it out a bit more throughout the day. Maybe I can get in a bit extra.

Anyone else getting blisters? I have three on my hands and one on my heel?!?!?

I'm down a pound since the start of the challenge -- gonna look buff like those rowers in no time!

Will I be kicked off the team if I say.... Go Colts! ;)

Just went out of town for a day trip, so I rowed some before and after.

No blisters because I wear gloves on the hands and row in socks on top of a pair of old shoes (no straps). I had to do the no strap row when I got a heal blister during a Holiday Challenge and never went back. No more toe cramps either!

I'm envious of the speed demons, but I know my own body well enough that I can't row fast or I'll get injured. As it is, I'm a little sore from rowing and casting.

The college campus is a viral cesspool, so with my asthma, the flu shot is usually very helpful.

Linda, don't worry about the speed, its really the distance that conditions you...injuries will only set you back.

I tend to have this unreasonable competitive side (my dark side) that INSISTS I watch the ranking boards. The only really good side to that is that it keeps me motivated to improve...my dark side is also the little voice that insists I NEVER ask for directions, I mean I even refuse to listen to my GPS at times!

Drives my wife crazy...after 25 years I think she is "conditioned" now
