I think we may have put the team over the 500,000 meter mark. All 6 family members rowed today and we have our own FRC chart up and running. Our family goal is 1/2 million.
Also Akira's name in now spelled correctly in his profile along with blurry picture posted - it was the easiest one to use from Debbie's work commuter.
Congrats on everybody's rowing. We will eat cupcakes in your honor.

Thanks for sharing the photos, Bazzy! Your trek of 240 Km is/was an amazing one.

Welcome back for the 2010 rowing season to Noelle B and Kelli D! Great to have you back in the boat! Hope you'll sign on for the Fall Rowing Challenge - we have a few teammates who have not indicated that they will participate in the challenge just yet. In your online logbook, go to the teams heading and scroll down to challenges. If you click on that link, you'll be good to go - and we get to capitalize on your meters! :D

Looks like you had some pretty nice weather for the walk BAZzy, with mild temps most days, and only a couple with light rain?
Well done completing it - especially without blisters!

Cheers,
Dave

Great pictures ... I kept enlarging them, trying to spot any jolly swagmen or an errant jumbuck in the background. Did Tommo walk, also?

The weather was mild and we only had a couple of (welcome) light showers of rain...

Chris....Thomas didn't walk apart from the last 1 kilometre into downtown Newcastle. Although he has walked numerous sections of the walk with me at different times, up to 10 klms over the hills.. But the funny thing is I can walk down to the shops with him and he'll be wanting me to carry him home on my shoulders! Worth noting that Aubrey, my nephew, and son of my walking partner, who is in the photo at the finishing point, is the reason why the walk was being done over again....he came three weeks early and Ray had to be 'extracted' from the walk on day 7....in April this year....

As for the jolly swagmen..didn't you recognise them?

But still looking for those elusive jumbucks!

To my North American friends...we met a couple from LA on the second day who came out specifically to walk the secton from downtown Sydney to the Hawkesbury River....staying in B&B and hotel accomodation all the way. They were loving it, we were even able to show them a Goanna at close range! This was a pre-arranged walk through a touring company...but hey, come on over and we'll take you!
