Just FYI- 600 Euros is about $850USD- that's the cost of a brand new model 'D' (with a PM3 monitor) direct from Concept2 in the States- I ordered a model 'D' direct from them and had it shipped to me in Thailand- shipping was about $275USD or 190 Euros (+ import duty, which wasn't much)- you might be better off looking into ordering a new one for a few dollars more instead of a used older model.

You may do better on http://concept2.co.uk/forum there's a whole Irish team "Paddypower" who hang out on there.

Concept2 USA won't ship to Europe. There's a fully fledged European dealer network. The Irish stuff is sold from Concept2 UK in Nottingham http://www.concept2shop.co.uk/ with the pound being weak against the Euro it may be a good deal. But it will be a lot more than €600.

The only way I can get a machine at US prices is to buy one in Boston at the CRASH-B sprints (when C2 USA sell the race machines at a reduced price).

If Turlough can make it to the British IRC at the NIA, Birmingham in November he'll be able to buy a reduced price race machine at that event.

Else the marketplace on the UK forum or eBay (carefully because C2 rowers are a prime scammer offered machine) is the only way to get a second user machine.

I had no problems getting one shipped to Thailand, but there isn't much of a dealer network here (I think there is one company selling a couple of model 'C' machines, but they wanted at least $500 more than what I paid at C2 for a 'D'- there were no 'D' models available locally when I did my search- I'm one of maybe four rowers in Thailand out of the more than 13,000 on the C2 boards  ).

It's too bad they won't ship to Europe- the international ordering process from their headquarters couldn't have been smoother- C2 did a great job- I couldn't have been happier.

Sorry, Turlough- I thought I had a winner for you. :?

Here's a place in the States that says most of their items can be shipped internationally (and their 'D' model isn't much more than one direct from Concept2- click on their shipping link at the bottom of the page):

http://www.rowingmachines.com/p/concept ... ng-machine

It wouldn't be a bad idea to shoot them an e-mail and see what they can do for you- £1125 is really expensive ($1830USD- more than double).
