Gina and daughter on AOL

Post by Kona2 » August 23rd, 2009, 9:31 pm

Wow! Gina first introduced us to the Los Angeles (UCLA) work being done with autistic teens by sharing a lot of her family experiences with all of us. Andrea and Gina are profiled in this article on today's AOL news. I'd say Andrea and Gina are making some huge contributions - way to go! Wishing you lots of friends!

Thanks Jan, Barbara and Bazz - it has been a while between sessions. Perhaps this unseasonal full moon caused our "Hot August Night" last night...
 we had a record 37 deg (C) day on the NSW north coast today (it is still officially "Winter" here)

That really is a nice story Gina - you must be so proud of your beautiful girl and her great achievements. Sounds like a really worthwile program you are involved in, with life shaping changes being made! B)

Dave

Catch-up

Post by just27 » August 25th, 2009, 2:45 am

Just reading through the last couple of pages ... lots happening! Welcome back, Jane, et al; congrats to Dan on the round 2 million meters, and congrats to Dave for having wrestled a full marathon into submission.

I've had an exciting 4 days of wedding ceremony and celebrations, in San Francisco, and am now a proud mother-in-law, with a happily married son. It's been darned exhausting though ... I feel like I rowed as much a day as Wild Bill, yet I didn't set foot near the erg!

I was trying to upload a photo the other day...but failed, pressed lots of buttons but to no avail... I recall seeing something about not being able to upload photos from password protected sites.. is this the case? It was from the Nikon site for which I have a password.. I see all these photos uploaded, but struggle to do it myself!

Sydney...windy and cooling off again! Actually, hoping for mild weather as I count down for the walk. I've been tapering off on the rowing recently and walking instead....

Cheers BBB
