Well the day is here I have been looking back at my posts since the first of the year and it amazes me at the progress I have made.

Back in Janurary I was all impressed with my self for pulling 2:01 splits for a 6k row now my PB stands at a 1:52 split.

The other amazing thing for me was doing a 10 k in less than 40 minutes. I have a friend at work who stated that was his goal which I thought was impossible and now I do a 10k in less than 40 regularly with a PB of 38:25.

My meters per week are typically around 40-50 k considering in the first weeks I found 20k a week a struggle.

What changes I have seen including an major increase in cardio vascular capacity plus a 50 lb. weight loss.

Thanks for all of the support from this site and if you are a row proer join me tonite for the final push.
Thanks ,
Big Chris :D

You are inspiring me... last night I just did my first 2k test and I pulled 1:55 splits. And 2k was my about my limit at that speed.

I, too, want to do a 10k in 40 (along with the corresponding 15k 60.) I have a loonnngggg way to go. (I haven't even broken 14k yet for the hour.)

10K in 40 minutes is also my long term goal. I can get the 5K in under 20, and can get over 7400 in 30', so I don't think it's too far off - perhaps before the end of the of the year.

My longer term goal is to be reasonably fast on both the erg and on foot. I think being able to row 10K in 40 minutes and run 10K in 40 minutes would be nice.
