Happy Birthday

Post by DuluthMoose » August 6th, 2009, 7:20 am

Happy Birthday Chris and Barbara!

Hike across green Ireland;
Bike the USA;
Backpack through New Zealand,
But don’t call it a day…

Do yoga in lovely Paris;
Jump rope in Katmandu;
Avoid Italian pasta,
(Well, maybe taste, but don’t you chew!)

Climb atop Mt. Everest;
Do aerobics on China’s Wall;
Lift weights on Mexican Beaches;
And honey, that’s not all…

Shake your booty with native dances
In Fiji and Bora Bora;
Move your body and exercise
Like you’ve never done befora.

Okay; that’s good; you’re finished;
Now you can take a break;
You’ve finally burned enough calories
To have your birthday cake!

Thursday Morning!

Post by just27 » August 6th, 2009, 12:58 pm

Happy birthday, Barbara. Your strawberry breakfast pizza looks delicious, as do the cookie plate slices. Too bad I missed the virtual plane to Logan earlier this AM ... perhaps one day we can celebrate in real time!

My birthday is starting out very much to my liking ... sleeping in late, many great greetings waiting online, and the aroma of coffee wafting through the house! Next is a wine tasting tour, and rez at a fave restaurant.

Thx for all the fun notes! Great poem, Darryl, I'm thinking Bora Bora mid-afternoon. And, Dave, that sounds like a fabulous Shiraz ... looking at an image and the price list is the closest I'll get to that baby! BBB - Hope that your sis had a great day. Oh, Danno, is that a Belgian tripel I see? Mmm.

Please, everyone have a slice or a sip of anything that appeals to you! Jan's provided the cake, hats and boogie music, so let's party on.

Same to you, my friend! One of my fondest memories is of a New Year's Eve I spent on the Rocks in Sydney ... hope to make it back again someday soon.
