Stellar effort everyone! I like having the Sweep position and seeing what's being posted during the day (and the night before) ... I did a double-take when Kiba posted her 100,000 meters. Amazing! (I also had pizza today but obviously not the right toppings.)Kona2 wrote:WHOA....and HOOYAH!! Kiba...what was in that pizza?! 100,000 m!? In one day? Solstice
Incredible Day of Rowing Luna-Tics! Surely we were moving the ship at Warp Speed!
Kiba - Wow! What an effort! How long were you on the rower?
Congratulations everyone! Way to Row!

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 6.21.09
I was remiss in wishing all the dads on the team a Happy Father's Day yesterday....hope it was a marvelous day!!!
Great rowing by the Luna-Tics yesterday! We were surrounded by many different celestial events: half moons, shooting stars, and a supernova! Milestones everywhere! Twelve teammates met the Solstice Row Challenge, and those that didn't quite have time for that rowing session sure added a lot of other meters to bring our daily total to almost 400K. Marvelous!
Happy Galactic Birthday to Mitch J today! We wish you a year of great health, good rowing and good fortune!
Season meters as of 52/365 = 13,783,071 m
Total meters on the day = 394,085 m
Oars in space = 29 percent

Now I have a new goal (and another great excuse to eat pizza!) - better hit the Erg ...
Happy bitrthday Mitch!
And congrats to everyone!
And yeah.. that took me about all day to do. At first it was going pretty well, but by the end I kept noticing that I wasn't actually rowing anymore
The pizza was mostly just a regular one.. except I did specify that the cheese should come from the moon..
Thank you for the "wows" everyone I'm not sure if I'm going to try that again anytime soon.. Probably wait at least a few weeks
And congrats to everyone!

Our young bloke, Thomas (9 year old) has coined a new phrase…Tommo has taken an active interest in how the ‘row to the moon’ is going and frequently asks how it is going after a row… Anyway, I told him about Kiba’s 100K effort, and that it was the pizza she ate that helped get her through it…Kiba wrote:And congrats to everyone!

He said next time we have pizza, best we get a ‘Kiba Pizza’ …don’t you love it! Just hope he doesn’t think I’ll be doing 100K after a Kiba Pizza!
Good luck out there BBB
