Well, I think I have erow setup on my computer. I tried the basic setting up a workout....but how do I actually start a workout once I enter it in the "New Workout" category? Also, where is the pace boat? I am not in my prime fitness right now....so I do not think I'm ready to race anyone...unless they are at my same level. I want to learn more about erow....also, want to do some RowPro stuff too some day. Just need directions. Thanks. Oh yes...is there ever anyone in "chat"?

It's pretty cool and I haven't had any problems with the Beta 4 version.

E-row is really for racing and doing workouts on-line. It wasn't designed to do individual workouts. E-row is several years old. RowPro is designed to do both and is currently being written and updated.

I don't remember using a pace boat in e-row. I usually keep a close eye on "average pace" to see if it was above or below target. RowPro allows up to three pace boats and they can also vary pace during the row.

Go to digitalrowing.com to find directions on how to use RowPro and a free trial download. But beware, you might get hooked.

Cheers,

Paul Flack

As I've used it more, I'm finding it rarely works correctly for online racing. Of course, it's still in beta testing, but out of 10 attempts to race/train online, I've only managed to do so once.
