We each make our own "milestone"Image...the place that marks a grand achievement on our way to wherever it is we are going..in this case rowing. We row meters, so in the technical sense it is a "meterstone".To borrow a phrase it can be a "bragging right".It is a celebration of accomplishment.
Each meter rowed in Team TimbukTOO is , to me, a milestoneImage...an effort to move the boat ahead and get us fit, healthy and happy( for the moment :D ).

So far..there have been some outstanding milestones..Image

Linda and Pat have crossed the 100,000 meter mark.

Laura, Chuck, Andrew, and Bryan are close to the 100, 000 meter mark.

Ray is at the 80,000 meter mark.

I can name each mate as to their achievement point but let's mark the grand ones..and they will just keep getting "grander".

Great efforts from the entire crew!!

We are all winners!!!

Definition of a Nautical Mile if you are interested..versus a regular mile..

A unit of length used in sea and air navigation, based on the length of one minute of arc of a great circle, especially an international and U.S. unit equal to 1,852 meters (about 6,076 feet). Also called sea mile.

As a team, we're off to a great start! Way to go crew!

I'm still inching my way back to the 10,000 board. Hope to make it by the end of May!

Hi Team,
The mild cold that I had has come back to hit me with force :x
I'll be off the erg for a few days- but I'll be cheering everyone on from the sidelines and then I'll be back!
All the Best
