Post by Kona2 » March 30th, 2009, 10:30 am

Image We've rowed closer to the moon in the last 15 days, and looking back we can see planet Earth....cool stuff! And thanks to Karyn for sharing some other space views of planet Saturn...might visit that on a future space journey!

Yesterday the WRC Luna-Tics rowed at warp speed 4.5, with the crew of 72 churning out 455,451 m! We are ranked 8th overall, and 5th in the virtual club category.

Thank you to all who are rowing with the Luna-Tics team! Your meter contributions (and all count!) are propelling us forward!

Great job team! Outstanding accomplishment Bill! Truly inspiring. Keep it going and enjoy it!

My meters reported are yesterday's and early this morning. Due to travels the next few days and in order to have a successful March, I had to row early this morning. Sorry to slack off...I'll be back. I'll just have to work harder to catch the rowers I am chasing.

WRC 2009 Update: Team Progress Thru 3.31.09

Post by Kona2 » April 1st, 2009, 10:06 am

Welcome new WRC teammates! Glad to have you join us! Each 3,840,000 m we row is one percent of the way to the moon!

The last few days of March Madness propelled us along at a very nice clip! Yesterday we collectively rowed 475,196 m as we brought March to a close - hope you met your personal goals for the challenge! :D

Thank you for rowing with the Luna-Tics in this challenge! All meters count, whether mega meters or whatever you have time to do on a given day! If you've gotten into the swing of things with the March Madness Challenge, you're in good shape to keep on rowing!

We're in 8th place overall, and as the large teams update their meters, rankings can change significantly in a single update.
