That would be Nights in White Satin by The Moody Blues.
Search engine? I'm a child of the 70's.... soon to be "a senior citizen who wishes she were young" (which I think precedes what Kona posted).
Nights in white satin, never reaching the end
Letters I've writen, never meaning to send,
And beauty I've always missed with these eyes before
Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore.
'Cause I love you, Yes I love you,
Oh, how I love you......
No idea of the album/CD title as that memory has faded....

Re: Trivia
"Passed." I think "Past" was X-Men! I may still have the single of "Nights in White Satin" from around 1967 (next question - who knows what a "single" is!) ... the US release was years after that (5?) ... for young Gina's enjoyment!Wilbury wrote:That would be "Days of Future Passed (or is it Past)" by the Moody Blues, circa 1965 I believe. Hope I didn't date myself there.

Days of Future Passed It Is!
Good job Gina and Will - Days of Future Passed it is! The epilogue was playing on the radio this morning....carpool kids thought it was a poetry station and gave me some grief. Thought I'd test the memories of the team since it was lunar related!
And speaking of passed - we have been....again....by RowPro. They picked up four more crew members and stretched the gap!

The Challenge:
I'm guessing Will, Wild Bill, Tim and myself can neutralize those 4 add members. What do you say guys. If it gets touchy we may have to call for some Aussie re-enforcements (Dave & Barry).
Any one else that feels compelled to row a few extra meters to put those RowPro folks in our wake are encouraged to join us.
Row long Row strong Loonies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do remember that the title was considered to risque for our Prom Theme. We settled on "Stairway to Heaven." But I always thought it was a cool song, as was Tuesday Afternoon. (From the same album). I'll have to 'educate' my kids. Thier tastes tend to run along the lines of Wierd Al (son- 15 ys) and Abba (daughter-13 yrs), although both enjoy Country and neither likes rap very much.

Well, as I mentioned last week, I hoped to make it around the world this week, and that I would post the details.
I did it!
According to the data from the NASA web site, the equitorial circumference of the Earth is 40,075,036 m.
Last night I made it to 40,075,136 m.
So here the details (I love numbers - what can I tell you):
days: 5205
mean min/day: 30.78
mean min/row: 43.17
mean meter/day: 7699.35
mean meter/row: 10799.01
cumulative time/500 m: 1:59.9260
actual rows: 3711
As an orthodox Jew I can't row on the Sabbath or Holidays. (There are other days when I might not row, e.g. on vacation, sick, fast day, don't feel like it, etc., but I am allowed to row those days.) So accounting for the days I can't row:
days: 4315
mean min/day: 37.13
mean meter/day: 9287.40
I have also done every challenge, on-line or for purchase, that C2 has had. (On the Terra Vitæ game I did the whole map, needing to do some pieces twice as I didn't think it was fair to 'fly' my erg to the beginning of an undone piece.)
So now I start the 2nd lap
I also hit a different, but also significant to me, milestone the day before. I made my 100th visit to the blood bank. (I sometimes make a double donation in a visit so I am actually up to 118 units donated.)

Don't you worry, us Aussies have always backed you up!
I was just reading David A's stats - remarkable. I must say the challenge is a great motivation, I wouldn't normally row as much as I also train as a power lifter...had to eat a couple of extra steaks this week to keep the weight on.
