Update

Post by Heifer » February 5th, 2009, 8:25 pm

Hey - thanks everyone for all the encouragement.
I am slowly increasing my distance and now comfortably rowing 4500-5000. I can row 4500 in about 20 minutes. Each time I row my time drops by 15-45 seconds...I'm not killing myself trying to go faster, but I think it is just an indicator that I'm getting more fit.
I lost 9 lbs this month...!
Stay tuned... :D

Ms. H,

Good job all the away around! Slow and steady wins the proverbial race.

That's awesome! Keep it up! I joined a team "weight loss challenge" and lost 11 pounds in the first three weeks, but no pounds this week. Darn super bowl party!

I'm not so good at starving myself, so I'm keeping it to 2200-2400 calories a day, and doing lots of aerobic exercise--rowing, running, swimming, biking, even the stair climber.
