In for the challenge

Post by yamadog » January 5th, 2009, 10:46 pm

Another New Year, another injury to recover from. Last year at this time I was coming back from rotator cuff surgery. I managed 200K meters for the challenge.

This year its recovering from back surgery. I had a microdiscectomy 5 weeks ago. I will try to better my 200K from last year.

What up, Motoids! We're in the top 20, aw yeah. Next stop: 1 million meters. We're nearly there now.

Great job, everybody!

Cheers,
Ann

You guys are rockin!
I'm sorry I'm sitting here with a big ZERO beside my name. This was not my plan for the month. Things are healing slower than I expected.
But I'm cheering for Team Moto big time! Keep up the great work. Anyone done a marathon or a half?

I began a "half" last week but my butt started to hurt (I'm not used to sitting that long) so I broke it up into two 30-minute blocks instead.

I think we're just glad you're alive after getting launched like that. You might not be if you weren't so tough & in shape.

I've been slacking off, just looked at our individual standings & I'd better get my keester in gear.

Man, that John Steffen is a monster, looks like he's going for a million Ks this month. WTG John!

Hey team!! I'm hope I got this Forum stuff figured out. I hope I can keep up the pace. I'm in Orlando on vacation and had to find a erg. I have to drive 16 miles each time I want to use it. My wife shows up tomorrow and I'm not sure how much time she will allow me to be gone. I did PR both yesterday and again today in the half marathon. It seems I do my best pieces on a setting of 10. I'm watching Mr. Goodwin!! He pulled me somewhere I would have never gone last year the million meter mark. I started this challenge with next to no base. Then I broke my toe!! That sucked!! Between that and all the stuff I did to myself when I was younger that has come back to haunt me. I did get invited to join another team this past year but I'm on the BEST TEAM!!! We throttle twisters have to stick together. Everbody is doing GREAT!! Keep up the good work. Later Crazy John
I think I'm getting to old for this type of punishment. I do enjoy a challenge!!

I say we all try to catch up with him. We probably won't, but we'll pile on the meters!!
