Pat, thanks for the encouragement for being the Ewe Row! Team Captain. I'm looking forward to the JVC.

I'll miss rowing with you for the JVC, but I think my meters will still count for the yearly team totals. I'm hoping to reach one million meters by the end of the challenge.

Taking a week off was difficult, but I'm hoping the time helped whatever was up with my shoulder. My goal for the challenge is somewhere between 200,000 and 300,000.

Thanks. I realized as I was going to row - that one could interpret my statement as a goal to row a million meters in the JVC, not the ~162,000 that I need to reach my first million of the season (and my lifetime) which is my actual goal.

I'm off to a good start today - I had a personal best time for the 10,000 meters. But the ergs were very popular at the health club today - I had to wait for one which is a first. Gave me time to do the yoga for rowing postures I'm trying to learn.
