Holiday Pounds

Post by luvmypony » December 26th, 2008, 1:20 am

I don't know if I've gained the 7 holiday pounds. Afraid to step on the scale. Ugh! I just know since I returned to the US in July after living overseas for two years, the weight is creeping back on. They don't call this the Land of Milk and Honey -- and Hershey Kisses and chocolate chip cookies, etc., etc., etc., for nothing. But I did drop 25 pounds starting Jan 1 two years ago, a combination of rowing and WeightWatchers, and I just don't want to gain that back again. So I'm starting well before I have 25 to lose again.

Thanks for having me in Timbuk2. Do I have to do anything else to have my meters counted in with the team? Last year I rowed with a Welsh team, and the team captain took care of the "paperwork".

Anyway, I'm in. I look forward to rowing with you all.

Karen

Team captains used to have to do all the "paperwork".Concept 2 made it much easier to join the JVC teams. You just go to your TEAM page and sign up.We are an open team so anyone can join.Once your name is on my list..and the challenge begins..then your meters will start to show up.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride!!!

The popular statement, " From here to Timbuktu." conjures up images of remote, isolated and distant parts of this earth

That is the mission of TIMBUK2..to row to distances beyond our wildest expectations.

This team has rowed with strength and spirit for a few years and has always had the indomitable spirit needed to row to distant parts of this earth..so join us for the JVC09 and help us continue our mission!!!
