:D meters! :D :D  :D :D WU HOO!!! Just finished my 200,000K (with 591 meters extra).

Hey Pat, we all really appreciate your support and encouragement. If you just need to be are team captain in the next challenge and cheer us on - that is 100% okay with me. Listen to your body and what it is telling you. You are your own best expert on what you need. Oh, by the way - got my new grips in the mail yesterday and love them - this last 12,000 meters was much better.

Welcome Stu!

Everyone have a very Merry Christmas! Denise

Pat, I can't wait for the next challenge! Note my WU HOO. You say Whoo Hoo, I say WU HOO! WU is the mascot for Wichita State University, so I tend to spell it a little differently. Wu is a really tough looking shock of wheat (from the university's days when many students shocked wheat for their college money). A little trivia for the day!

Great work, Denise! 200,000 is double what I've done! I can't imagine rowing that much!

Pat, stay cool and don't injure yourself, mentally or physically. As you know well, everyone needs a "refresher period" from time to time. I'm sure you can find something else that "floats your boat" for awhile to stay fit and active.

Best wishes for the holidays everyone!
Cindy

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...

I'm still puffing away to finish the challenge; not much time left but I'm pretty determined to finish! Darn left shoulder is giving me more problems than the knees right now.

Wishing all a Merry Christmas and healthy 2009!

Linda - keep up the good work - I know you can!, I know you can!

Cindy - I think I was a bit crazy to set that goal for myself! Not too sure I will try that again! - but then again . . . maybe . . .??

At least my packages are wrapped finally - and I hope they let us out of work early tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to everyone. Denise

Made my goal with 5 minutes to spare. I've got to stop cutting it so close! Will take Christmas Day off, and I think I will take off one day a week for a while to see if that helps with recovery. Next goal is the January Challenge and my next million milestone.

Congratulations to all who were able to row during the challenge. Every meter counts!

Merry Christmas !

And HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you and all TmbukToos, also, our other friendly rivals from across the forum. See y'all at the JVC . you wasted us last year ... so, oil your chain-thingie, and change your monitor battery ... the race is on for 2009!
