That's a good, easy date to remember! I'm keeping track of the stated beverage preferences, so Dan can inventory his supplies:

Gina: Black Velvet
Karyn: Hot Toddy (Johnny Powers whiskey)
Kristine: good coffee ~ designated (spaceship) driver
Andrea: GT (Bombay Sapphire)
Darryl: Captain Morgan with Peach Schnapps
AJ: Guinness
Chris: Champagne with Cassis
Team members <21: Cosmonaut Cooler (Tang involved?)

Welcome new team members!

Dan C--put me down for a Beefeater martini on the rocks. Sounds like it is going to be a great party.

Pffffff my Holiday challenge 2008 is over. Target reached: 210.000m and $6.40 for Conservation International. This was my last rowing for this year. Tomorrow we travel to Austria for a well deserved Xmas Holiday.

Keep up the good work and try to squeeze out those last meters. Hope to see you all at the new years party. By the time most of you join the party we'll be tipsy for a couple of hours already

Dan, please note me down for a bottle of Salentein Malbec Reserva 2002 from one of the most beautilull bodegas of Argentina.

Happy Xmas to all.

I couldn't have done it without the motivation here

That's $18.00 for The Nature Conservancy.

Excellent job on meeting the challenge. You most definitely earned the right for a wonderful holiday in Austria. I usually start celebrating New Years at 7:00 EST to coincide with my relatives in Ireland as they ring in the New Year, so I will toast to you and your travels. Thanks for getting us closer to the moon. Happy Holidays!

MY WEIGHT!
Not sure but it may have something to do with the readily available and irresistible Holiday Season Goodies and their siren call to my sweet tooth! Hopefully I'll be back to normal in a couple weeks....

...and there is a new toy in my workout life that utilizes the great features of my Model D. And David Hart of Concept2 even says my meters will count when using this toy. Picture and story to follow sometime in the next few days....

looking forward to hearing about the new toy!

not nice to mention the W word before new year's! And in your case, I would have thought you could at least attempt to justify any increase as
'needed balast' - at least that's what my husband used to claim when he had his Hobit Cat!

ETA on that would be 12/22 - I won't be able to row on Sunday, since we will be in San Diego all day.
