Based strictly on the limited information from your 500m & 1k times, you should be able to pull a 1:52 pace for the 1,500, but you're only at a 1:56, and your current goal is a 1:53.3. How fast did you start out on your last test? If it was faster than 1:53, and I suspect it was even faster than that, then you had nothing left to finish and should have started slower.
Try going for a 1:54, 1:53, and 1:52 for each 500m and you'll finish with a 5:39. Negative splitting lets you keep your reserve until the finish.
If, however, you're starting slow and then can't finish, then endurance is the problem and the other thread you started advises you well.
