Welcome back everyone! I started trying to remember how pirates had invaded a lunar landing mission ... and somehow got to "luna-tics" acronyms ...Kona2 wrote:Welcome back Tom Rosengarth and Larry Edelson! You do realize that you've joined up with a bunch of pirates......

Jeanne - when on earth do you get the chance to spend time on the rower? With the numbers that Dan's been posting, it looks like he's been hogging that baby, 24/7!
Chris[/quote]
Chris - He surely has been hogging it AND sweating all over it. EWWWWWW! I'll have to give it some time to dry because the Princess doesn't do sweat!

Chris,
I think the pirates bit came in from a couple of places. The first was the space movies....which reminded me that there was a movie about space pirates. The second was the St. Urho day or festival that Darryl talked about and I found out you pronounced it aaaaaarho in piratese. The third was our tendency to overtake other boats, recruit wisely....you know I do have these "take it literally" tendencies!
And welcome also to a new team member: William Haag of Nevada !
Thanks for propelling us into 9th place overall and welcome to the crew!

Jeanne - - good luck, not sweating on the dreaded sweat machine!Princess wrote:Chris - He surely has been hogging it AND sweating all over it. EWWWWWW! I'll have to give it some time to dry because the Princess doesn't do sweat!
Dan - our rower arrived at the beginning of September 2007 ... so the first year anniversary has passed. When does one lose newbie status?
William - welcome to you and to your meters. Are you from Tibet?
Jan - Aaargh. "Pirates and Princesses - Lost in Space" ... has potential.
Tony - woo hoo!
