Glad to see the team off to such a great start in the challenge! I'll try to finish my rowing/post my meters earlier each day, but don't hold your breath!

Went fishing on Sunday. My husband was the only one to bring in a single, tiny trout, just barely a keeper. I had one on my line seconds later, but I lost it at my feet. I've never lost fish before, so I'm not sure what I've been doing wrong. This one really surprised me as I was focused on my husband's catch.

I did nab a bat, though! It had been diving at the bugs around me (fishing by the full moon), and it must have decided to latch on to my lure or I caught it mid-air. In any case, I brought it into shore and left it in the shallow water flapping away. While I was trying to figure out how NOT to lose my lure, it got off the hook and climbed away over the rocks.

Going fishing again tonight after work, but I don't think we'll fish quite as late!

LOL, Linda.

I can just picture you catching a bat.

Same here with the late meter posting. I may row tonight while watching biggest loser so it will be late for me also.

I only came home with one fish; lost another one near shore. I think I'm getting too excited.

Bats everywhere last night (almost full moon?), but thankfully, I didn't snag one this time.

It was so peaceful and quiet at the lake last night. It has never been more pleasant. We can't go later in the week, so we're squeezing in another trip tonight. There were so many fish coming to the top to feed. We don't know why we didn't catch more. Lots of strikes, though. I keep telling my husband that his squeaky reel is scaring them away!

Hooray for Linda. 1,000,000 that's a biggy.

Maybe there are to many bugs near the water for the fish to catch and they arn't hungary enough.
