I did a HM yesterday while watching "A Knight's Tale" ... a fine movie for distraction purposes! I think Kristine said she likes the Hobbit trilogy, and that Dan's maybe mentioned "Where Eagles Dare." What are your faves? (Possibly none in the above image! )

Chris
when i go to the y, i try to get the erg that is in front of the tv and request either espn or a game if one of my teams is playing...since i can't get the sound i also listen to my ipod...barbara

Now there's a serious sports fan. I agree with her choice of the Celtics ( Birdland is all you need to know), but I have to take issue with the Red Sox; Bruins are ok too( Bobby Orr was the greatest). What does that make me 2/3 Boston 1/3 NY. Probably a psycho!

Never claimed to be perfect.

Barb,

Actually my Celtic days go back to Bob Cousy 1961. Congrats on the 1 Mil, as my friend Ed would say "you are an animal". What marathon are you running in next? Not to be off putting but Yankees are my thing.

Congratulations on one million meters Barbara!

And I won't be rowing for a while:
I'm in the final hours of packing for a 9 day wilderness canoe trip and I don't expect to be rowing for 2 weeks. Tomorrow afternoon I pick up 2 of my crew at the airport, we have our last civilized supper of pizza for a while, and we go through a gear shake down with everyone to discard the duplicates and make sure we have everything we need. Hope to be leaving for Ely, MN at 6 AM on Thursday. Darryl

Team Challenge Meters contributed to Row to Beijing = 11,124.3 m (10 actual meters are equivalent to 1 challenge meter)

Each day of the challenge, Concept2 enters individual rowers who have rowed/entered in logbook at least 2,000 m into a prize drawing! The more days you row 2,000 m, the more chances you have to win!

Next Challenge Destination: Victoria BC - rowers be ready for orcas along the way! Image

Season meters as of 62/365 = 8,462,556 m

Total meters on the day = 111,243 m

Oars in the water = 31 percent

MILESTONES:

100K Sorin - Way to Row!

That may be consistency, but it is not perfection. I have been trying to end at 7,777 but can only do that only once every 27 times.

LOL ... I think that once every 27 times is perfection!

(I missed last night's 27 two times before getting it at 10,227!)
