I'm reasonably tech-savvy (not brilliant, but I know my way around the Internet, etc.) and I have a ludicrious amount of space thanks to a very good deal with Dreamhost, so I started a diet blog.
It's nothing fancy -- just a rough scratchpad for me to keep track of intake and burning and jot things down through the day. But seeing as my problems to date largely source from not writing things down, I figured this might be a good solution -- I have computers + Internet at home and at work, so this is actually more convenient than recipe cards or a diary, and less obtrusive.
Plus, it's public, which adds a certain incentive to it. If my friends know that I'm doing this, and they see me "go offline," they'll hassle me about it.
My goal right now is to drop back down to lightweight, which I haven't been able to do for about five or six years.
Anyway -- this is working for me, so I thought I'd share. A combination of convenience, easy access, and the fear of public shame!
What's working for me right now...
