Hi, am a beginner. Worked out at the gym on a model C and loved it. Started using C2's 24 Workouts from their web site. Now bought my own model D and am working out in the morning before work.
Question for the group: can I use C2's 24 Rowing Workouts
http://www.concept2.com/05/rower/servic ... ts0903.pdf as a basis for a weight loss program or is it just a cross training fitness program? I like the way it tells you exactly what to do and how hard to exercise, but it has a lot of interval training and I heard that weight loss required "long rows"?
Any help in sheding some light on this issue would be welcome.
Thanks a lot.

Dragone,
I am going to try the 24 workouts. I do much better with a plan then figuring things out for myself. I will let you know how they work for weight loss. I have already lost 15 pounds with weight watchers points plan and walking. I know that adding the C2 workouts will really help.
I want to lose another 15 - 20 pounds by vacation time (June 11th!). Yes, I have always been an optimist !
Right now, I am doing the first 5 workouts suggested on the site. I haven't rowed in about 4 years so I need to get back into the feel of it. But, it is like riding a bike, you just never forget it!
I'll keep you posted.

Longer rows and common sense, burn more than you eat. Do not eat three hours before bed. Use fiber pills to keep the body elimanating timely. Drink a medium glass of water every time your remember too. Eat balance foods and smaller protions than you are used to.
Best of luck,This is worth IT.
