Hi- I wonder if any of you who have been around will remember this - I used to have a training plan that I am sure I downloaded from Concept 2. You could put in it how many times a week you wanted to train and it gave you a plan. I am sure it was a weight loss one - but the thing for me it was a plan and something I could follow. Do any of you remember it or know where I can get similar. I am looking to row a million metres this year in between cycling and stuff. Yeah I could do with loosing weight but my need for this is more about a plan I can follow.
Thanks in advance

I suspect it was from the old (and very defunct) Indoor Rowing Services website (which is where the ancient concept2.co.uk stuff got moved to).

I remember it and also tried to find it. It was a slow ramp up thing, starting with slow and steady long rows, which didn't start overly long, and once fitness levels improved it moved onto shorter harder stuff.
It always looked like the shorter stuff would be so much easier until you started doing it!
I really liked the routine and wish it was still about.

Concept2 has this resource as well for rowing related plans/information - Some useful gems in here.

Hi Lilly, Not sure if you are still monitoring this or still in search of a plan. I downloaded a plan about a year ago and have been following it the last few weeks. The plan ended up being 40 weeks for me, but I noticed that it was basically 12 weeks of this "intro" part and then 12 weeks of the "maintenance" part just repeated over and over, so this is where I am starting for now. The plan was supposed to be personalized in some way based off what your weight loss goals were but I do not remember how it changed for different inputs.LillyK wrote: ↑January 24th, 2020, 3:42 pmHi- I wonder if any of you who have been around will remember this - I used to have a training plan that I am sure I downloaded from Concept 2. The heart rate #s here will be different for everyone of course. I just put in rough numbers there for myself (27 yo).
