Do you recommend using protein and rowing to strengthen muscles?

If you are very untrained you can gain mass, runners and cyclist also can build upperbody mass, but indeed not in the way weights can do. Although really gaining lean mass is not easy.Dangerscouse wrote: ↑September 16th, 2019, 12:28 amRowing isn't a good way of strengthening muscles.
You will eventually get stronger, but not bigger. Weight training is the only sure fire way of getting stronger and bigger, and protein is absolutely essential along with all of the other nutrient macros of a good varied diet.
Alot of the protein bars on the market are tasty too, same story...laden with sugar. Love the chewey texture though.jackarabit wrote: ↑September 16th, 2019, 3:49 pmhttps://www.acefitness.org/education-an ... cle-tissue
I love protein shakes (whey powder and milk). Downside of my favorite brand is 9g. sugar per serving.
Processed junk, its candy nothing else.Tim huges wrote: ↑September 18th, 2019, 1:12 pmAlot of the protein bars on the market are tasty too, same story...laden with sugar.
