Just curious, does anybody here use this device? And to what end?

I haven't, but I know 4 or 5 people that have and they swear by it.

My husband and I use the BodyMedia Fit. Same basic concept ast he BodyBugg, but these were less expensive.

Absolutely love it. There's no more wondering how many calories I'm burning while I'm doing house work . . . or while I'm rowing!!!

I will admit that we've stopped logging food. We have a good handle on the number of calories we're consuming on a regular basis.

I have a GoWearFit that is like the bodybugg. I haven't used it in a long while but it is useful in learning how many calories you tend to burn in one day.
Actually I'm ready to sell it if your interested.

PM me and I get you more details and pics
