Hi guys... Started rowing on Feb. 18 and till now I loss 7 lbs. However, It seems that the weight is not coming off as quickly as before. I still have 2 weeks left on the program but I am not sure if I am going to meet the target of 182lbs. To be honest... I think 185lbs is good for me... because I dont want to buy a whole new set of clothes I feel great!!
I have a big family and we all love to eat... and we get together weekly to cook and eat...so that is also tough as well
I will keep you guys posted!!
Bruce

You have strange titles to your threads: I don't think you are struggling, I think you are doing great. I think everyone hits plateaus when trying to lose weight. Keep this up and at some point you body will head back down (at least that is what happens with me).
Training for the marathon challenge in April will ensure you lose more weight if you want a target.

Thanks guys...watsb01 wrote:7 lbs in 5 weeks sounds pretty good to me! I'm thinking it's unnecessary to consider lopping off body parts to meet your 182 goal. Just keep on keeping on!

Re: Thanks!!
Bruce,
You weight is coming off much quicker than mine. I've only lost 2 lbs in 6 weeks. However, I've been spending my time perfecting my stroke - it's only taken me 6 weeks too...not 6 years like some people....only kidding guys<g>
I just did a 30 minute row (6359M) though at 23spm and an average of 138bpm - so I think I'm ready now for the weight loss program, so that is some progress from when I started.
