Training for a Marathon

Post by Kibi146 » December 20th, 2006, 8:34 am

I don't know if anyone would be interested in working together to train for a marathon. I was thinking that we could set a time to do the marathon and then we could all do it at the same time (like during one particular weekend). At the end we could compare times, etc. If nothing else, it might help us all get on the rower if we know there are others doing it with us. Is anyone interested? If so, let me know and we can start planning when we want to do this.

Concept2 normally challenge us all to row a marathon during April.

http://concept2.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.p ... 877#282877 is a recent discussion on this. Eddie hasn't published his document on http://concept2.co.uk yet, but it should turn up soon.

In the UK we did a marathon weekend in Bedford. Eight folks rowed it as a race using the venue racing software - fastest was 2hrs 40.
